A special contest of debut full-length, live-action and documentary film projects among the countries of the Arctic Council within the 19th Spirit of Fire IDFF accepts applications till June 20.
The set of documents must be sent to email@example.com. One application corresponds to one competitive work.
The contest is aimed at supporting ideas for debut film projects related to the Arctic, representing various aspects of life in the region, and focused on Arctic issues: Arctic peoples, flora and fauna (biodiversity), ocean, pollution and climate.
The aim of the contest is to provide financial and organizational support to amateur filmmakers who attract the attention of the world and professional community to the issues of importance to the Arctic: ecology, indigenous peoples, generational continuity, preservation of traditions and culture, etc.
The winners will be announced at the opening ceremony of the 19th Spirit of Fire IDFF on August 20.
