The results of the XVIII Spirit of Fire International Debut Film Festival were summarized today in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The closing ceremony was held in the Ugra-Classic CTC on March 9.

First of all, according to tradition, participants and guests of the Film Forum walked along the red "star carpet". First who set foot on it were the closing ceremony masters, students of Sergey Solovyov's workshop of VGIK: Stasya Venkova, Irina Balkova and Anastasia Teplinskaya. Then there was the Vice-President of the Festival Maria Zvereva, artist Sergey Tsigal, actress Alisa Grebenshchikova, as well as Russian actresses Irina Rozanova, Evgeniya Brik, Lyudmila Polyakova and participants of the international and Russian competition, Russian and international jury.

On the stage, the festive atmosphere was created by the musician Sergey Ryzhenko (violin) and Bogdan Kiyashko (piano). They played a few musical phrases of "Roads without end".

The awards ceremony of the 18th Spirit of Fire Debut Film Festival began with awarding the "ELEPHANT" prize of the Russian Guild of Film Critics. Eloy Enciso, the director from Spain, got the prize for the work "A Long Night".

The prize of Gazprom-Neft, the Film Festival's General Partner, "For preserving cultural traditions" was awarded to the Yakut film "Expedition" directed by Gavril Menkyarov, it was received by the actress Olga Dorofeyeva.

The film "Protocorba" directed by Kirill Khachaturov got a diploma "For an original understanding of modern reality" of the jury of the competition "Debut - Short Film".
