“Spirit of Fire” Echoes in Moscow and Ekaterinburg

Echo of the “Spirit of Fire” shall start today , March 6th in Moscow and Ekaterinburg.

         The task of the event organizers is to expand the festival geography all over the  country. The Echo of the “Spirit of Fire”  will create a possibility for residents of the largest Russian cities to see the part of the Festival program.

In Moscow the Festival Echo will be held in the Documentary Film Center from the 1st to the 9th of March. The program of the “Spirit of Fire” shall be divided into two parts: one part shall be devoted to the brightest debut films of new film directors, and the other part shall present the new movies by honored masters. Thus, residents of Moscow shall see “Milla” directed by Valeri Massadyan, “Once Brazil was Here” directed by Adirley Keyros, and the winner of the 16th film Festival “Spirit of Fire”, “Sara Plays a Werewolf” directed by Catharina Wuss, “Classical Period” by Ted Fendt and others.

“The closing first night in Moscow will be “Two Serious Ladies” by Pierre Leon. This will be the climax of the program. Screening of the only novel by Jane Bowls and novelty VHS-experience in the “Spirit of Fire” shall celebrate the thirty years of Pierre Leon’s debut in the movie and his agreement to become a part of our jury”, mentioned Boris Nelepo, the Head of Selection Committee.
